Envision:You seeks to close gaps in behavioral health outcomes for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning) communities through co-created community programming, advocacy engagement, public awareness campaigns, and evidence-based training. Our organization addresses the unique needs LGBTQ+ people have when considering and accessing behavioral healthcare and treatment for substance use. As members of an often misunderstood minority group, the community frequently face discrimination, violence, and poor mental health outcomes. Although it requires great strength and courage, seeking support is one of the most important steps a person with a mental health and/or substance use disorder can take. We have committed ourselves to improving the mental health of LGBTQ+ community with a multifaceted approach in collaboration with partners from around the state to support, educate, and empower community members.
